First Experience Teaching Is Done

I was a student teacher at Spanish Oaks Elementary School. I was in Mrs. Paice's second grade class. I really had a great experience; it was challanging but I really learned to love it. I am really going to miss these guys...they are great students. I love teaching!

Guitar Hero Night

The evening of General Priesthood Session, the girls got together and as usual had nothing to do. Jennie thought it would be fun to play guitar hero. There were many skeptics, but once they started, they couldn't stop. We played All night! It was a lot of fun.

Corn and Football

HELLO FAMILY! Tim and I decided that we would also participate in posting to this blog. Here are a few pictures that represent the two things that mean the most to us as Nebraskans.

The first two pictures are of us and a never-ending corn field. There is a bike trial that goes from Lincoln to Kansas. We didn't ride long enough to take us to the next state, but this is what we saw along the way. The last picture is us at the Nebraska vs. USC football game. Tim had high hopes for the Cornhuskers at this game, but they did not come out victorious.

In other news, Tim got a summer internship in Los Angeles. He starts the day after Memorial Day. The internship is 10 weeks. We are so excited. I will continue to work from 'home' through the summer. I feel lucky that I can pack up and move anywhere and still keep my job.

So I guess I'll be the first to put anything on our blog (besides becky). These are just some pics of our trip to Grace for the fair and rodeo. Grandma took us on a little tour of the house she grew up in, where she went to school, Grandma Smiths grave etc... It was really fun to see. Oh, also we went to lava hot springs where Jeff and Greg went off the high dive. Good stuff!

I can't believe it!

I can't believe how this blogging thing has taken off with this family. I don't think there is enough space for everyone's comments. People!! You are boring me!! If it is really that hard then I will go ahead and bug you all and call and get all of the juicy news and post it myself!!! Let's get to blogging people!!!
